A Visit from My Friends

You may remember, some time ago my humans and I went to Asti to meet my blogging friends Paco, Milo and Maya. Ever since then, I’ve been waiting for a good opportunity to invite them over to my place. As I have now moved into my new house, I asked them to come around last weekend. Here are some photos from their visit.

Here we all are!

This is Maya. According to her humans, her teenage hormones are beginning to kick in. She is starting to take an interest in boys...

For instance, here she is checking out at a male dog across the street...

... and here she’s checking out my butt!

Maya tried to flirt with me by initiating a play session.

How could I say ‘no’ to her? She’s irresistible!

We had so much fun chasing each other’s tails in the garden.

We also took the occasional ‘sniffing’ break!

While Maya and I were getting acquainted, guess who tried to invade our privacy???

Paco and Milo!

See what I mean? That’s Paco and Milo keeping a watchful eye on Maya and me...

...well, mainly on me!

That’s me in the center and Maya’s on my right. On the extreme left is Paco who never let me out of his sight...

...except when he was preoccupied with my bones.

Paco (and my bone!)

And here’s Milo. He loves to stay close to his humans.

This is Dad giving me a belly rub!

Lastly, the humans posing altogether.

Bye Paco, Milo and Maya (and your humans)! Thanks for the wonderful weekend and we hope to see you again soon!!!

Fun in the Snow

Yippee! A couple of days ago I woke up to find our garden covered with snow.

Homer’s ‘White House’.

Man, I couldn’t wait to get out there!

Finally, Missus let me out into my winter wonderland.

Of course, I’m no stranger to snow now having spent last winter in Holland. Still, I always get a buzz from sniffing around in the white stuff.

I noticed Dad beavering away trying to clear the snow...

...so, I thought I’d try to help out by eating some.

Soon, Dad decided to make a fun game out of his snow-shovelling.

Here it comes...

...Woo hoo!

Unfortunately, the game wasn’t so much fun when the snow landed.

'Bah’!

Next it was time for some ball games.

Here I am playing ‘snow tennis’.

Dad was hot on my heels, but I soon gave him the slip.

"Run Homer, RUN!”

Then, we had a go at snow football. Of course, as you know, I’m a bit of a footballing legend .

I was the goalie. I already have some experience in this position .

Here I am, waiting to catch the ball...

...where the heck is it???

D'oh!

What shall we do next Missus?

I know. We’ll make a snowman...

A couple of ‘frosty faces’.

All too soon, it was getting late and time to say good bye to the snow.

Good night ‘Frosty’! Buona notte.

La Mia Bella Casa (My Booti-ful Home)

As I mentioned in one of my previous blogs, ever since we arrived in Italy from Holland we have been living in ‘temporary’ accommodation. Everything has been OK, but I must admit that I have missed the settled life we had with my big garden back in Holland.

Luckily, with the help of Paco, Milo and Maya’s mommy (Grazie millie Simona!), my humans have now found a more ‘permanent’ place for us to stay. It’s in a town called Lodi, which is on the outskirts of Milan.

Let me show you around...

Ta da! This is me in front of my new house.

And here I am in my big front garden.

The garden path.

Here I am taking a rest at the top.

Now down to the barbeque area. (Mmmm...barbeque...I LOVE barbeque!).

This is the back of the house. Man, this place has loads of places to explore.

Just one more part of the garden to show you...

...the drive, which leads back onto the front garden.

Now let me show you inside the house...

This is me admiring my booti-ful portrait in the hallway. “Bello!”

The first flight of stairs...

...and here I am at the top of the second flight.

You may remember, I used to have problems climbing the stairs when we first moved to Holland.

Not any more though. Now, they're easy-peasy...

...in fact, I can even fly up them!

This is me on the balcony outside of the living room.

Can you see me?

As you know from my time in China, I love to watch the world go by. Well this place is just perfect for that.

Finally, here I am in my new bedroom. I even let the humans sleep in here sometimes!

By the way, wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! I love you all!

Ciao for now.
